The Underworld: Soil Biodiversity and Regenerative Farming

This session dives into regenerative farming in action through a Troon Vineyard case study, exploring how shifts in vineyard practices have improved soil health, ecosystem function, and long-term resilience. Speakers will share soil health data, foundational principles of Regenerative Organic agriculture, and how accessibility, consumer understanding, and market demand are shaping on-farm decision-making. The conversation will also unpack real and perceived barriers for growers, additional benefits such as animal welfare, and Oregon market considerations.
